Rent-A-Camp
Want to camp but don't have a camper? No problem at Oakdale! We offer the following through our Rent-A-Camp program:
CABIN $45 A DAY OR $300 A WEEK
Our cabin (or as we fondly call it "The Box") offers riverside camping with all the amenities of home! The cabin is air conditioned for those hot summer nights or you can enjoy the breeze on the front porch. There is a microwave and propane grill inside, or cookout on the grill-equipped fire ring. Food stays cool in the fridge, and you don't have to walk to the outhouse to go to the bathroom, as the cabin is equipped with a sink and flush toilet. Shower accessories are included, as are kitchen ware and utensils. The cabin sleeps 2-3 adults comfortably but feel free to bring a tent with you to pitch on the lot.
Bella loves the couch! (You'll get the cabin dog-hair free.) Pets are very welcome to join you on your stay in the cabin.
CAMPER ON-THE-RIVER $45 A DAY OR $300 A WEEK New for 2007, our On-the-River camper is perfect for a couple or those with small children. With a perfect view of the Miami river, this 24-footer can sleep 2 adults on the pull-out couch, 2 small children on the bunks in the back, and if you have extra visitors the kitchen table folds down to a bed. Again, shower accessories, linens, and kitchen ware are provided. The camper is equipped with a new microwave, refrigerator, and air conditioner. The camper is pet-friendly, but smoking will not be permitted. The camper has a deck, but a new one will be installed as soon as possible. The lot has a fire ring, and encompasses such a big area a few tents can be thrown up for adventurous kids! TENT CAMPING $24 A DAY OR $90 A WEEK *Details coming soon!*
